Before and After School Recreation Leader
Before/Afterschool Recreation Leader – Part-Time
Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Recreation Coordinator/Supervisor, provides assistance with planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, and supervising before/after school program, special camps/events, winter/summer camp and programs. This position also performs all other duties as assigned by the Riverdale Park District.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able and willing to work with children in an educational setting, and to assist with program development.
Must be self-motivated and team oriented
Possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Possess the ability to follow both written and oral instructions
Must be able to address questions and concerns from the public professionally and with accurate information
Must be honest and exhibit a high level of integrity
Must be able to assist with the development and implementation of winter/summer camps, out of school camps
